Weird problem when dragging MIDI clips
I had this happen to me in another project a while ago and now it's happening again in a new project I started working on. I'm trying to copy drag a MIDI clip from one track to the track below it, but when I release it, it jumps to the track 2 or 3 tracks below that one. If I then drag it from there into the track I wanted, it works fine. So the only way I can drag copy a MIDI track from track A to track B is to drag it to track C and then back to track B. Weird. Anyone else seen this?

Happens to me constantly. I think I've narrowed it down to how track selections are handled, which- to me- seems different from previous versions. I've learned that being super careful and intentional about selecting the tracks I want to copy from before selecting the clips, and then selecting the tracks I want to paste to before pasting the clips, helps. Unfortunately, it's not always an effective solution.
Sometimes, pasting doesn't work at ALL for me. :[

I was actually talking about CTRL-dragging clips to copy them, not copy pasting (which I almost never do because for some reason it makes me nervous).

Yes. It's a very well known bug, I think.

Guess I will have to purchase X3 to see if they've fixed it....

Can't X2 Producer users try the X3 demo? Or the demo won't be available for a while after the product release?

It's unfortunate that some of you will be volunteering to see what has been fixed and what hasn't, for those of us who don't want to spend money without knowing beforehand.
