What, no love for the 8-tracks anymore?

I never really had any love for 8 Tracks.  I did have an 8 track player in my old van, but I had it because it had a great FM tuner.  It hardly ever got used for playing tapes.  My main complaint about them was that you couldn't rewind and you'd have to play the whole track to get back to a certain tune.

Heh, I only had two (Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Heart's Dreamboat Annie) and on Heart's Crazy On You it actually faded out in the middle of the song then clicked to the next track and faded back into the song!

Ridiculous.  I didn't use either long enough to find out about the lack of rewind - lol!
