I need some help on my new Huawei G6608 unlocked cell phone

Hey guys I need some help on my new Huawei G6608 unlocked cell phone. I got for my birthday few days ago and I like it looks very nice "Black and silver"
1st problem every thing was in portuguese so I change it to English simple.
But than ran into another problem I wanted to change the phone password.
I went to my settings "after I printed entire english manual online" which gave me the password.
I went to settings, phone settings, change password and type in the password which was correct.
Type in the new password than the screen ask me to input it again but it says my new password was wrong. 
 
Also when I tried to log into my facebook than tried to log into facebook online I was warned that some one tried sign into my account from another country. Could this be because my phone is from portuguese?
 
I never dealt with foreign phone so maybe these are common problems sense not from the US.
some the features are in portuguese like the web browser "Opera" or customer support.
And if I go to File Manger, Memory Card, mythroad list of folders come up "plugins, gsidbak,dsmtowap,eim,mrp 160x128" 
 
But hopefully maybe somebody on here had some experience with foreign phones.
I hate send it back its very nice. 
 
My phone provider is T mobile but I got the phone from amazon unlocked "new"
