How to migrate from old X1e to X2a.

What is the correct way to move my project and audio files to a new computer? I also want to put them on my second drive. I truly need help.

    Hi Mickster, I'm not 100% sure if this is the "correct way", but it has worked for me on my new build. I removed the old "Projects" HD and installed it into the new PC.........then, I selected all the project files and dragged them into the new "Projects" HD. This was a quick/efficient way to get it done.
     
    I did the same process for my samples drive.
     
     
    I have these 3 drives installed in my new PC:
     
    C: OS/Software Programs (SSD)
    D: Sonar Projects (HD)
    E: Synth Samples (HD)  
     
    If you only have 2 drives on your new PC, then you might want to put your Sonar projects & Samples on the bigger HD while keeping your OS/programs on the smaller HD (or SSD).
