No need to respond to this, let it drop off the bottom of the list but for a minoity that may benefit..
Was banging Reaper as a next step for keyboard players to build and save presets of chained synths. Works like magic over Sonar's dinosaur architecture, but with one flaw in the stereo 3D panning which Reaper can't deliver. Fix is surface level achieved with Sonar or Reaper cloning excess and time consuming multiple channels at the expense of a whole hell of a lot of work.
Can simplify...
My opinion only, passed on to me by an Indian dude who barely spoke a word of civilized English but who had a hell of a grasp on the tools available.
If you're a keyboard player and adhere to the fine Sonar line, you need Energy XT especially if you have to mask your ability in overkill like me.... Don't know how much it costs but under a hundred I think.
http://www.energy-xt.com/ XT is some sort of DAW but encorporation into Sonar as a vst, or alternately a vsti plugin is the target. Allows loading of multiple synths, effects and the mixer controls everything elegantly. Means loaded as a single plug, XT hosts as many plugs and/or effects as you need and manages the final output wherever you need to place it. Synths in the proper stereo mode and balance clean.
Otherwise it's Reaper rewired to get a chain without the pan option. Still almost cool.
