Does XLN have support?
Or do they give a sh*t about their customers? I bough a product 10 days ago and the Online Installer won't work. Gives some kind or access error. I log a support ticked and get a stock reply about antivirus apps which doesn't apply. Now they will not answer my emails or support tickets. It's been 9 days. I paid for a product that I can't install. I also can't update my existing products or purchase any more products since I can't install anything. What is wrong with these people? I used to think they were a decent company but apparently I was wrong.

That installer is weird, not sure how it came up in your version of windows but in XP it launches a network admin logon I haven't seen used in a decade. If that is coming up for you, the checkbox “Protect my computer and data...." will be checked by default. Take that out and it should run.

Seems very strange - I have always had good service from them. Have you tried to email? Try some of the address below (or just email them all!): shoporder@xlnaudio.com[/link] <a href="mailto:support@xlnaudio.com]support@xlnaudio.com Hope you get sorted soon Nigel

Were you able to register your serial # at XLN? Even without installing it, registering the number and having an account may be the problem. If you have done this then disregard. HTH

It registered and shows in my account but that registration process seemed to be the culprit.

Update: The finally got back to me. 10 days for a new product is crappy customer service. The updater is working now but the new product was uninstalled by the installer.

I spoke too soon. Their email was 3 days ago and now they are ignoring me again. I still can't use the product I purchased.

It's been well over a month the just stopped emailing me. I finally figured it out myself but the answer is they don't have any meaningful support. They just blow you off.

This hasn't been my experience of them at all, I recently contacted them re AD in X3 and they were very prompt in replying - several times in one day and it was also on a weekend.
