The exquisite taste of censorship
Recently I posted a message indicating that Musician’s Friend were advertising Sonar X3. Well, the removal of my message was so fast that it left me licking my fingers wanting some more. Yum , yum, gimme some!

It's not censorship they just want to make sure they announce it before it appears online from another source. They ensure this will happen and basically confirm its imminent announcement by promptly removing any threads that crop up about it. It's clever stuff that's way beyond our limited capacity for understanding what is happening and it's ultimately for our own good I'm sure. Working on the premise that Cake=Bakers, which incidentally always cracks me up, it's very important for a Baker not to open the oven door too early so as the Cake doesn't collapse in the middle due to it not being baked properly throughout. So although we can all smell the goodness wafting from the oven already we have to be patient because it's not ready to be taken out yet and even then it will need to be placed on a wire rack and allowed to cool first.

I think we were the last ones to get it.

Has anyone ever wondered how they came up with the name cakewalk? I mean we're they all sitting around the meeting room table when some one said "we are going to make recording such a breeze it will be a cakewalk"....and they all said...."that's it!"

It was explained once and I read in book, (Yes Wookiee's can read) that certain forms of a twelve tone tune are described as a cakewalk. As the company's original name was Twelve tone perhaps thats the source. Any what would a carpet like me know.

Jonbouy It's not censorship they just want to make sure they announce it before it appears online from another source. A deletion to me is censorship. I wasn't insulting or offending anyone. I wish that they had had the courtesy of notifying me of their intentions of removing my comment.

Ignore me I was just feebly trying to be light-hearted. I know what it feels like having a seemingly innocuous post removed without explanation though. It does seem to be a bit blunt.
