MC 5 with Windows 8?

Hi, I searched and couldn't find anything on this. I'm buying a new laptop with Windows 8. Will my MC 5 sofware install on this as is?

Thanks

I'm not sure.... W8 is fairly new so consider yourself a beta tester.

Let us know how it goes. I'm thinking it should..... at least I would hope so. I've installed software in the past on the "newer" OS and it worked fine..... but there comes a point where it doesn't, and that is mostly in the drivers that are for the interface.

I had an upgrade where the software from Cake worked but the interface drivers were not compatible and the company that made the sound card had no intention of updating the drivers to the new OS.

Thanks, I'll give an update once I get the computer configued and up and running. I also have the "last" version of MS Money (2008) which I hope to install and Garmin training software for 2010. Haven't read much about Windows 8 yet, but there have been some negative comments. ...... :(
