Roland A-49 Controller
http://www.roland.com/products/en/A-49/ My Roland PC 180 has been dying a slow death.
The A-49 looks like its next generation and is about the same price I think I paid 25 years ago for the PC180 So it's a no brainer for me what to buy.
Butt!
Bonus is it looks like it includes }Sonar LE.
"Bundled with Cakewalk SONAR LE software" But now the question is, which version? X series or 8.5?
I don't need 8.5 LE because I have Producer, But I haven't upgraded to the x series yet strictly because I don't feel like spending my money there right now. But A free version would be cool because if I use it, I will get my feet wet and be ready for the day I have to make the plunge.
I looked up Sonar LE in the above link search function. It shows a Sonar X1 and a 8.5 version. Guess X2 is not there yet.

This software is bundled free-of-charge with selected Roland and Cakewalk products and is not sold separately."Interesting that you can actually get your hands on good old 8.5 for free no less,
but, it is not clear which versions are included with the purchase of any Roland product.
Sooo, anybody bought a Roland product lately and which LE`version was in the box?
