    Vocals are awesome.  Nice arrangement, and instrumentation.  Some of the parts, particularly the snare, seem over-compressed.  Like you have an extremely fast attack and high compression ratio, low threshold? - don't know for sure, just guessing here. These compression or limiting settings seem to rob the life out of some of the parts.  This may be the sound you were looking for though.

    Yeah....sorry, the idea for doing this came when I commented on Emma's singing the tune on youtube and volunteered to do a cover if she sang.  I blew it off and she caught up with me later.... so I got off my ass and pulled together what you hear.  The drums are not what I wanted to do, really. (I am a drummer mainly).... so I pulled in some loop offered by CW as a part of some loyal this or that.  So, drums are what they are.  I really should learn compressors well.  Just learned how to do ducking the other day.  Written maybe 60+ tunes and still compressors baffle me.  
     
    Yeah....Emma's singing is excellent.

    Wow, nice voice! :)  And great song too.  Outside of the drums already mentioned it sounds great.

    The mix sounded very full here.  As a total lover of the female vocalist, I'm in love again!  It all sounds full here but I agree the snare could pop a bit more.  I haven't heard this song before.  I gave up on Sheryl Crow when she said I could only use one square of toilet tissue.  LOL!  How did you find her?  Is she a working pro (musician)?

    Yeah.... no helping the snare in there.... twas a loop that I used from Loopmasters or who knows.... was in a rush to arrange this.
    Met this singer via youtube.... told her I would arrange if she sang....
