Can I use Remote Control to control effect parameters?

Can I use Remote Control to control effect parameters?

If so, how? The documentation explains how to set up RC for track controls and controls that you've added to a synth in the rack, but not for effect parameters (and I can't find any option to bring up the RC dialog for effects).

    iirc you need to enable the fx as a synth to send rc/midi control to it?
