Just finished writing a late-night-comedy show theme song

Hi Everyone,

I've been giving myself composing projects just to keep myself writing more music, and  learning new skills to capture various sounds that I want to use.
For a while I'd been wanting to write my own late-night-comedy-show theme song to force myself to compose something with funky horn parts.  I bought the Vir2 Mojo Horn Section virtual instrument a while back and this song was the forcing function to make me learn how to use the new sounds in a song.   I'm happy with the Mojo Horns plugin, but now I've discovered that I really need to beef up my DAW to get the performance needed to run some of these plugins to their full potential.

You can hear my song at the following link on my website.  It's called "Late Night Stomp'n"

Thanks for listening.  --Jim Pfeifer

If your goal was to write a late night comedy show song with a funky feel. I think you nailed it in spades. The mix is nice and clean as well. Makes me want those Vir2 horns! Nice job Jim!

Yeah, it has that late night show mood but is also a great listening tune all around.  You worked your plug ins nicely, and everything else!  Man, I really loved this!
