SONAR Tip: Remote MIDI Key Bindings

SONAR Tip: Remote MIDI Key Bindings

If your studio is set up so that your computer isn't located next to your MIDI keyboard or controller, using MIDI key bindings is a great way to still have access to SONAR. For example, if you want to be able to start and stop SONAR recording via your MIDI keyboard, you can just assign one MIDI key binding along with the Shift key or controller to the Play/Stop function and another MIDI key binding along with the Shift key or controller to the Record function. For more information on Key Bindings (Shortcuts) and other SONAR configuration options, see chapter 2 in SONAR X2 Power!

One bump for this since not many were able to see it for obvious reasons...

Anyone else find these posts a little bit spammy?  I realize many members will find these helpful, but it's also clear they are intended to boost sales of the SONAR Power books.

Sorry, Scott. No offense intended, but it irks me a bit when any vendor makes too many unsolicited and self-promoting posts to a user forum. Responding to member posts with specific suggestions and solutions to problems with an incidental link in your signature is one thing, but posting unsolicited excerpts from the book, and suggesting to "see" the book to get more info and is crossing the line, I think.

Respectfully,
Dave

I don't see it that way Dave. I appreciate the people like Scott who brings professional support to the forum in a community setting. Scott chimes in many times with the direct solution to people's issues. Thus saving people a lot of time trying to figure out the niggles of their situation. Anyway, my 2 cents.
