Microsoft Surface Pro

Hey!
 
Have anyone tried Sonar on a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet? Any experience you want to share? I'm just curious...

    it should work fine. its the first tablet with a real OS for real programs. and look it has a USB port..
    no Clue on DPC. if I needed a tablet it would be the one I would buy

    Hey!

    Thanks for that. Yes, it is indeed a "real" computer so I am curious if it will handle Sonar - and whether Sonar looks good on it or just turn into a grey mess on that small screen. I'm looking at that as an alternative to drag a laptop onto stage just for playback of audio, like we do now. I have an iPad and I'm extremely happy with it as a tablet. But it is not a replacement for a proper computer when it comes to these things.


    The next gen Surface will have Haswell processors, looks like it could be a nice contender, although, the price is a little steep for using it as a playback device only.
