Dragging BFD Eco loops into the Track Pane as groove clips in X2a? *SOLVED*

Enough procrastinating. I've always just written my own drum tracks in the PRV but that's very tedious when you just want to jam or make song sketches. I know I did it once before but if I have BFD Eco set up as a synth how do I drag the included loops directly into the Track Pane so I can just make quick structures?

Or am I going about this all wrong?

Thanks.

Edit: Figured it out and it's easy. With BFD Eco inserted as a softsynth go to the BFD GUI, click the "Grooves" button then drag a groove from the list directly to the BFD MIDI track in the Sonar Track Pane. The groove appears but it is not automatically converted into a Groove Clip so you gotta select and right click the clip then select Groove Clip Looping or select the clip and press Ctrl + L.

Easy peasy.

Maybe PM twaddle. I could not drag and drop directly from MIDI browser in Eco. I could drag the clip to the Eco track and then from the Eco track to a SONAR track. A little awkward but it did work.

Huh. That's weird. Not sure what you mean by dragging a track into BFD. I wonder if I can find those loops in the X2 browser somehow. I know they must be stored somewhere on my computer. I just find the way BFD has their loops organized much easier to find stuff as opposed to the MIDI loops that came with X2 and I don't think I'd have to mess around with mapping as much. Oh well. After breakfast I'll take a look.

I did not write "dragging a track into BFD". Slow down and read it again. There is a track in Eco just below the MIDI browser.

You cannot see the MIDI loops in the SONAR browser or load them from the folder because FXExpansion does not store BFD loops as midi files.

Ah. I see (and I wasn't getting stressed... not about this anyway). I didn't realize that little track showed up within the VST version. Like I said I've just always set up the tracks and then done my thing in PRV. Thanks.
