Edit: I caught this one on the list: "Additionally a longstanding problem with multiple MIDI out VST plugins causing a SONAR to hang was addressed."

    Another interesting change to VST effect MIDI handling:
    VST plugins that support VST MIDI out are directly supported without needing to register them as a synth first. A MIDI out port is enabled automatically when a VST plugin supports MIDI output.

    While this new addition is "just" VST3, in reality it seems as though it's really much more.  
     
     
    Edit: Yup, no need to register FX as synths any longer too.  Like I said, so much more than "just" VST3!    Me likes.    A lot.
