Cloning tracks with Region FX (melodyne) didn't seem to clone settings.

Cloning a track with a region effect may not be generating an independent copy of the region effect settings.
 
I cloned a track that had melodyne as region effects on three clips. Then on the cloned track, I changed the melodyne settings (trying some harmony) in some of the regions. Seems changing the melodyne settings on any of the regions in a track messes up the settings in the corresponding cloned region in the cloned track and vice versa. I had checkmarks on all the cloned elements in the clone dialog, including effects, somehow expecting each element to be cloned, i.e. a copy made with identical but independent settings.  Note, the clips themselves were not linked, and the cloned clips are actually in separate independent files. But the settings seem linked somehow.
 
Then deleting all the region FXs for the cloned track and reapplying them allowed me to make all the settings independent. After all that, the harmony sounded decent, though.
