Solved: What's the deal with addictive drums?

Are we getting the free version of addictive, or is it some special Cakewalk version?
 
I used the link contained in the RTF doc but all that seems to link to is the Free version that anyone can download? Why do we need this special serial number if all we are getting is the "Free" version?
 
There is no indication on the XLN Audio pages re this. It seems it is either the free one or the paid one ($149)

    Possibly you download the free version register and XLN will upgrade the free version in an update?

    I have tried AD before (free version) and afaik the free version can not be upgraded, you have to buy and download the full version. IE the free does not simply "unlock" into a full. But I could be wrong on that

    It's the full version of awesomeness.  You should get a Product Key from us in your account. Use that key whenever asked (on their site or installer) and the full version will install.

    Make an account...enter the serial number...download the online installer...and install..you should be done!

    Not working here...It only show the free Additive Keys version as the only product I have and its the only one I can register.  If I try and use the key from CW it says that it's an invalid key?
