Just like you knew it then

Pure pop song.  Hoping I got the mix right on this one, any and all suggestions/comments/critiques welcome, they are always helpful!

Dear Lee,

another cool song from you! I like the relaxed feel of it. Talking about the mix, I had the feeling that the drums were a bit too loud - I normally like my drums loud and kicking, but with this song, I believe they would better be a bit down. Just my two cents...

Hey, Warren,

Very cool modern sounding folk rock song with excellent performances and a nice clean, well textured mix!

I think I might agree with Tom about possibly dropping the drums just a dB or two because they seem to be just a tad out front of everything else.

Really  nice work, great song, thanks for sharing!

Liked the overall feel and vibe of this song, the drums could do with being dropped back in the mix though.

Thanks for sharing.

I think I'd raise the bass and thicken it up a bit (I have no idea how), add a bit of bottom to it and see how that works.  Just a thought.  Good tune.  The mix has a lot of high frequencies on the vocal and guitars.  It like a lot of your songs so I am thinking that it is what you are going for.  It's a good song!

Another good tune, Lee!  I agree that the drums are a bit loud and the bass too low, which has been true of your latest submissions, so you're consistent.  But, the performances are there!

All the best,

I agree about the drums being a little hot, but not too much.  Great groove.  Vocals remind me of Dylan.  Good stuff!

I still can't get SoundCloud on Internet Explorer, so I had to use a different browser.  You must have fixed the drums because everything sounds doggone good to me.  This number has a bit of a retro-folk-rock feel to it.
Nice one!
