My Initial Cut on X3 (Producer 64 bit) - VERY POSITIVE

Wow I like it so far. I have not explored everything, but what I have used in mixing a song this morning, was very positive.

- As a program, it is snappier -opens quicker, just responds faster. And so far at least, no crashes.

- Love the melodyne integration. I own Melodyne editor and was thrilled to see it working perfectly in the APA system. LOVE IT.

- The new Quad EQ flyout. Super. Love it.

- Custom colors.Yippie!

If you have X2Producer, in my opinion, you will benefit very much from the upgrade.

Oh yea, the install along side my existing X2 producer went totally smoothly. (I am on WIndows 8, 64 bit, 16gig I7)

I am not associated with Cakewalk.

How is the CPU usage? Can you try out some of your heavy projects and see if there is any difference?
