Dad update...

Dad is home now, had a few problems but he seems to be getting a little stronger everyday but still has that "thousand yard stare" most of the time. I think he is iving on borrowed time and will power because he wants to "be there" for my mom.. he is a truly great man, mom on the other hand...
Anyway, he is home.

Thanks for all the kind words for my dad. They have meant a LOT to me. You were right, it has been hard, It is still hard... but it is OK. I am getting ready to take my 10yo grand daughter to the Georgia Dome to watch the Falcons beat up on the Patriots tonight. Sunday Night Football... some good times to balance things out!!

Rant edited away... life is too short. Need to take my own advice. Sometimes that is the hardest advice to take.

BTW, X3... looks good to me.

Don't worry about the rant.  With everything going on, it's better to vent than to let that stuff get to you.  Stuff like that is just there to remind that life goes on.  It's best to keep everything in perspective and not allow the small stuff to get to you--irritating as it may be.  Sorry about the kitten.

Prayers and best wishes to you and your family.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?
