Sonar X3 existing VST question.

Hey guys,

Can anyone help me at all before I make the jump to X3. I am running X2 at the moment. I have Melodyne, Addictive Drums and most of the Nomad plug ins already and a few of the other third party plug ins included in X3. Will there be a clash of any sort with these VSTs. I only ask because I have X2 running beautifully with all my plug ins and do not want to upset things so to speak.
Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Just elect to not install them. Just uncheck what you already have in Sonars installer

You may consider going Studio instead of Producer, as this time around it really seems to be only the extra VSTs that make up the difference. Or at least do a very careful comparison of the two and see if it's worth it to you.
ProChannel is still available in Studio this time. Not sure about the fly out EQ though but if that's really the only thing...

I think on Studio you only get 2 Pro Channel modules though, as opposed to Producer having up to 8.

Ok I will check that out, but will probably stick with Producer anyway just in case I miss out on any later upgrades that only come out for Producer.

Good call on the number of modules. Didn't even realize that.
