Had to revive this thread as a new user of the Pro Version to ask if you had ever found a way around the missing 'UNDO" button dilemma? Since the "EDIT" button is non operational in the current 1.7.0.4 version, there is no way to access the additional programmable features of the Mackie protcol. Seriously need to find a way around the missing "UNDO" capability!!

I saw your post in the Neyrinck forum. You are correct, SONAR does not get much action there compared to Pro Tools. However, I have made a few suggestions and they were acknowledged. The last request I made was for a button to be added just left of the rewind button that would go directly Home.

Thanks for the info. This is the only iPad app I've ever spent $50 on!... I haven't used it in a few months as my wife has absconded the iPad but I seem to remember I had to switch to a different screen for undo. It wasn't difficult either.

riojazz, Yes, a home button would be great but I am finding with regular use, that an undo button would be just as helpful since I can check the 'on stop rewind to now marker' in the track options before I head into the booth or navigate via the V-Window. But tracking via remote without and undo button is really making a mess of my track lanes and adding WAY to many of them for simple slip ups. And having to navigate to the V-Window every time you want to undo a slip up is just taking forever workflow wise. How have you gotten around that? And when was the last time you had correspondence with the company? Sacalait, Yes, you can switch to the V-Window, then hit 'adjust' then resize the window to expose the top of the toolbar menu, then hit 'done' then navigate to the 'edit' page, then down to the 'undo' choice, then hit 'adjust' again, then resize the window to your previous workspace, then hit 'done' and then continue on but that's a LONG process at the size of the V-Window instead of just hitting one button. I have to say that I love this app and its the ONLY app I have ever spent anything close to 50 bucks on! But it is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to both remote navigation through the project via the V-Window as well as a functional control surface. But, for use in a busy production environment where you have to stop in the middle of a take while the singer takes a call from his girlfriend, ect, there are some BIG over-sites to the basic interface and the lack of an 'UNDO' button is clearly one of them. Especially when you consider that it IS included in many other Skins including Cubase and Pro Tools as well on the right hand side of the mix window.

Sure, I support an accessible Undo button on the main screen. I use my setup almost exclusively for remote playback when I'm alone, so I haven't experienced the recording setup problems you describe. I do understand what you are saying. Communication from Neyrinck seems to come in bursts. There is someone named Joshua (I think) who identified himself as wanting to help out Paul Neyrinck. He has been receptive to what we write, but I don't know how much gets translated to action. Having said that, I value this app highly, use it for long periods almost daily, and have no second thoughts about having spent the $50 on it.

Yeah, I have to say that it has become an indispensable tool the more I use it and understand all the features that are not first immediately obvious. I have tried most of the others with varying degrees of success but so far, nothing really is as comprehensive or stable for my purposes. The Neyricnk setup instructions with your system is a little ambiguous if your not a Mac user as this seems to be their focus. Once I understood that, for PC users, you must have Bonjour running in addition to the NiFi application, the setup was pretty easy. Now if they would just put back the 'Auto Login off/on" feature in IOS 7, it really would be snap lol! Thanks for the heads up on Joshua, I just assumed he worked for Neyrinck? Its been crickets on the forums over there lately so I'm hoping it's just a breather as you say.
