upgrade question

I have been a sonar user since pro audio 9. I have purchased every upgrade since Sonar 7. Usually when I get the upgrade I buy the box set that comes with it. At times when my system failed or I reformatted the hard drive I would always reinstall Sonar from the Box set.
 
As I have been browsing around the cakewalks store I noticed that no box version is available at this time. Has cakewalk done away the box set part of their product? I don’t see it in the online store so now I wonder am I looking in the right place?  Is the box set going to be made available in the near future or is it gone for good?
 
I plan on upgrading because I am drooling every time I look at the new toys. I like the color option and the VST 3 option too.
 
Has cakewalk made any improvements or changes to the staff view? This is not a deal breaker for me I am just wondering about any changes in the staff view.

I have been reading through the knowledge base and I see there are two different builds of Sonar for each version
 
The exact disc builds are listed below:

• SONAR X3 - build 197
• SONAR X3 Studio - build 196
• SONAR X3 Producer - build 197

The exact ESD download builds are listed below:

• SONAR X3a - build 209
• SONAR X3a Studio - build 209
• SONAR X3a Producer - build 211

So the disks that are being sold for producer right now are X3 (build 197) but the download version is X3a build 211. So I guess my question is If I order the box set to go with the download version will that box set be Sonar X3 professional build 197 or Sonar X3a build 211? Is build 197 only in retail stores and not the box sets?
 
When will you guys release the patch for the disks that have build 211? (Sonar X3a)

I typically get the box sets. I guess I am a collector. I find things on the box sets that are not on the download. For example, when X2 came out I got proteus-planet earth for ordering the box set. I also got a bunch of IRs for perfect space on the install disk. I also got a collection of RXP loops that were on the install disks.
 
I know that DVDs are becoming obsolete. Now with a higher upgrade price I am beginning to wonder if I should let the box set go this time around. Then a part of me wonders if there is any advantage to getting this box set. The upgrade price is close to what I would pay normally with the box set. I am on the fence about getting it this time. I wonder if I can purchase the box set at a later date? that would be ideal for me.
