Odd MIDI question

So I have some reeeeealy old, standard, MIDI format 1 files. Ya that old :D. They, of course, do volume and pan changes via controllers. No problem, Sonar can deal with this, so can most of the synths I use. However it would be nicer for editing if instead that was all done as automation data so that it is easily visible and, more important, easy to control with a control surface.
 
Is there any simple way to tell Sonar to translate it? Like "take everything from CC7 and convert that to volume automation"?
