EZKeys
I bought EZKeys. And here is the result: soundcloud.com/dick-pronk/p-nk-try-cover?in=dick-pronk/sets/body_and_soul_project Did not play a note on the keyboard, all piano chords are generated by EZKeys. There was some midi-editing though.

You didn't use EZvoice too did you? You have an amazing set of pipes. Now I know how a really good guitarist must feel when they hear something like a Prominy product reproducing what they took years to learn. Those keys sounded pretty realistic indeed. I would have never known. You still needed a knowledge of midi and chord construction to pull it off. Hats off to you on both songs in that mix. I thought that the keys could have had a little more reverb on them to make them seem more like the space you created for your voice. The keys seemed dry compared to your vocal.

Hey Starise, Thanx for the compliment, and you're absolutely right: the space of the piano and voice are a bit off. However, I'd rather would decrease the reverb on the voice that the other way around, but hey, that's just taste. Anyway: good listening!

I don't know the Pink song, so it's hard to say how effective it was. "I Believe In Spring" didn't work for me. A real accompanist would have followed you and the phrased around the spaces in the melody much better. "What You Doing" was much more successful. Also EZKeys? The soloing is busier than what I would do, but that's just a matter of taste. The strings are real...I hope? Nice arrangement. The only thing that would make it better would be MORE strings! "I'll Wait For You" was very nice. The overall vibe reminds me of Steve Tyrell.
Diggin' it.

Well, I thought you did a pretty good job on this considering the EZ-Keys. I did like the guitar work and its sound, fit in really nice. Like everyone is saying, it is a matter of taste and so you pulled of your taste the best you could with what you had to work with. So, congrats on a nice song with some nice vocals. Could it be better? Well of course it could, but so can a lot of my work. Nice work!! Peace and Blessings, John

Thanx all for listening. @jsaras; The Pink song is the song with the EZKeys. The other songs you listened to are older and were made with karaoke backing tracks. Only the songs in the set Body and Soul Project are tracks made by myself. And even though Try is a cover, it doesn't sound like the original at all, so I hoped it would be effective on it's own merits. Greets, Dick

Interesting interpretation. Mix sounds well here. Thanks for sharing.

Starise I thought that the keys could have had a little more reverb on them to make them seem more like the space you created for your voice. The keys seemed dry compared to your vocal.
Instead I dried the voice a little :)

Good work Dick, although I think maybe now the vocal is a bit too dry. But of course this is a matter of personal preference. I particularly enjoy the bold guitar solo in the 2nd half of the song.
