two little X3 questions

i don't see how to make the bus color match the color of sending tracks?
Anyone doing that?

also, I'm having to reassign the input and output of my Mackie MCU cs almost ever time i start x3.   Is anyone else having this happen?

If you color the bus first and then go to the track, bring up the color options, and select "Follow Bus Color".  That track will now follow the bus.  I don't think you can get a bus to follow the track's colors.

You can also group tracks together and just click "Follow Bus Color" on one track to get the entire group to follow the bus color.

I think the new Sonar X3 track and bus colors are excellent.  This will really make a difference when it comes to recognizing tracks quickly by instruments or groups.

    Kudos CW!!!!

It's very cool indeed, albeit a little hard to get used to, having used X1e for the last couple years. It's just a LOT of color to get used to now. :)

I can't speak to X3 yet because I haven't installed it, but in X2a using the BluAudio D8Bridge MCU emulation software with the Mackie d8b, each bootup of the DAW requires that I go back in and reinitialize the assignment of MCU1, MCU2 (XT) and MCU3 (XT) in the configure dialog box.  Any other news regarding X3 and its interoperability with the MCU?
