re-amping out of quad capture

Hey there..just need some help on reamping a dry guitar signal out of sonar le to my amp back into sonar? I have a little labs re amp box..and ive tried it already going from track setting output to be quad capture 1-2..to little labs. ..To amp...to input of quad capture..but im getting feedback..im not sure really what to set my inputs and outputs to and listen to the music while its recording back in with out the entire mix somehow reamping..yikes!!??

If someone could run me through a step by step..that would be awesome!! Especially what i set my inputs and outputs to for the channel sending and channel recieving...

    Set the guitar track channel output to whatever the out on the interface is you want to use. You will have to have more than 1 stereo output if you want to monitor your mix as well. Otherwise, if the amp is in the same room you will run into volume and phasing issues that could be a major problem. The output is hooked to the input on the amp. Now, setup a mic on the amp. Plug the mic into an input on the interface. Set up a new channel in the DAW with the input set to the channel your mic is coming in on. Set the output of that channel to your master buss so you can monitor the mix.
    Be aware that you want to mute any tracks that are being monitored thru speakers if the amp is in the same room. Any racket in the room will be picked up by the mic so the amp must be isolated or everyone must be quiet.
    I hope I explained it correctly! If I did you should be ready to go.

    I have the Studio-Captures. I'm not familiar with the outputs on the Quad. I will guess that you would have 2 stereo outputs. If you are using 1+2 for monitors, set output of original track to 3,4, or 3+4. Mic on amp should run into whatever ins you choose to use.

    Normally it is best to have an interface with more than one stereo output. You sort of have a 3/4 option but this is SPDIF. It would work to monitor with 3/4  if you have control room monitoring that is SPDIF capable. Lots of monitors do. 
     
    The reason is you don't want your whole mix running out to the amp so you need to send just the guitar track to which ever output you are using. In your case this can only be 1 or 2. 
     
    Every track has an output option. This defaults to your Master or to the first pair of outputs ( 1/2) The Master defaults to 1/2 as well. 
    SO if you have the option of using the SPDIF to your monitoring system then hook the coaxial cable up and assign the MAster to 3/4. It probably is marked as "3/4 Digital Output"
     
    If you don't have the SPDIF option then use the 1/2 output, but make sure the track you are recording into is not set for input echo. 
    If shutting off input echo does not stop the feedback loop then assign the track to output 3/4. In other words, anything but 1/2.
