Et Cetera told me £85 at first and then revised their price later, so Maybe Dolphin got the same incorrect info. Anyone if anyone gets it for that price they are on to a winner! Good luck.

This sounds quite likely unfortunately. I did email them re expected shipping date and they emailed back with end of October but didn't say anything about the price so I guess it's a possibility. Bibs

Etcetera told me that a Boxed X3 Producer upgrade will be £106.00 + £6 P&P with serial number but you will need your X2 Producer licence number to register. Perhaps Dolphin is for an download???

I think I'll wait a while & if it turns out to be a good product, I'll wait for the usual special offer upgrade price which is bound to come around Christmas or New Year! Failing that, there's the summer sale price like this year where it was half-price to upgrade & so I paid only £39!!!

I'm like Rick, x2 won't magically stop working , and I'd rather wait for some patches / fixes.. although I might have to update my other DAW's by the looks of it.. and I will be haggling with the prices of em.. one of my friends witnessed it once, and was surprised.. thats the good thing about having a dv shop locally. I'd rather they stayed open also. I also am more of the mind to put money into the UK economy also at this time, IF I get a good price on things.

+1 Fog! Wow, a DV shop? Must be the only one left now? My sentiment too which is why I bought my copy of Sonar originally from Et Cetera as our high streets are disappearing!!! I think the combination of the world credit-crunch, growing online sales affecting the high street, ridiculously high local council premises rates & steep parking charges is driving shops out of business so like you, where I can, I try to spend my money with UK companies in the first instance.

I ordered it yesterday at £85 + £4.99 postage (so it's definitely a boxed product & not download). They've taken my money (PayPal) so let's hope they honour it ... I've checked the site today and it's now £119 !

I ordered from Et Cetera on Tuesday and was going to cancel and re-order from Dolphin when I saw the new price on Wednesday. Et Cetera were excellent - when I phoned to cancel, they price-matched Dolphin. I'm hoping when the delivery comes, it's the price-matched amount they take from PayPal. Should be though - I've dealt with them in the past and they have always been superb!

Well maybe it was too good to be true - just had an email from Dolphin saying that no boxed (upgrade) copies will be available in the UK - so they have cancelled my order & refunded me via PayPal !
