Clip Automation Problem

Hi All!
I just was working on a project that contains some clip automation (Gain). When I first applied the automation everything seemed to be responding as it should, as I could see the volume sliders move at the appropriate times of the inserted automation.
I did some other minor editing afterward, and shut down the project for the day. After coming back to it though, I realised that the automation, though still visually present, was no longer responding to the automation lines!
 
I checked to see if the "Automation Read" button was on, and it was. I'm noticing that the "Edit Filter" has a selection for "Automation' as well as "Clip Automation". Do I have to make both of these selections to enable the automation on this track?
 
Any help would be appreciated.
