mouse selection consistency problem (sonar X3b)

heya, long time sonar user here

maybe this issue has been covered Before but here it goes..

since the day standard left mouse drag selection moved Place to the right mouse drag selection in sonar, I've been having big problems to adapt to this, since every other software/os Im using has left mouse for drag selecting,it is a standard pretty much, why brake it?...anyway, this made a clash in sonar / melodyne ...  specially now that there is a tight melodyne integration this is more noticable and more frequent problem in your face

example:
I have a song audio clip, attached melodyne editor to it (region fx), double click the clip to open it in the dock
first thing I do is right click drag, but in melodyne it right click brings up a mini menu, doh,
melodyne has a standars left mouse drag selection (of course)

yes, there is a half-strange left mouse selection mode in sonar but its acting strange, and if you happen to left mouse drag select from the half bottom of a clip, it does select but also cuts those clips... I want an option to have standard left mouse drag selection

so jumping in and out between sonar and melodyne dock and swearing at this inversed selection mode in sonar is VERY frustrating...
mouse selection should be consistent!
can we bring back the standard left mouse drag selection mode ???  or at least as a user control in the settings menu?

would be nice to hear from cakewalk about this

keep up the good work otherwise :)

thanks

/ orhan
