Ready to install X3 - can I keep my old install of Dim Pro?

I already have X2 Producer and DimPro installed. I just want to install X3 Producer.

Do I HAVE to download and install the Dimpro 1.5 files that are part ofthe X3 package? If I don't, will my old DimPro install still work?

No, you do not need to download Dim Pro 1.5, your old version will still be found in X3 (VST scan from X2 will carry into X3 for you). You also do not need to download the 3 loop files (I believe those are identical to X2 as well).

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

I kept mine and did not bother with downloading it another time.

Thanks! I really did not want to re-install stuff that I already have.

I did a search on this a few days ago and came up blank, so I asked the same question. It was promptly and politely answered.
Yesterday I searched to get unrelated information about loops and one shots and found several other threads that answered this.
I want to thank all the people who restrained themselves from mentioning how many times my question had been answered.
If I had done this on one of my professional boards I'd have been tarred and feathered.
(No worries...it's a good look for me).

    What a great board.
