Sonar X2 Distorted Playback - WTF?

Hi folks.

Made a song a few months back in X2.
Hit too many bugs, so re-installed Home Studio 7.
Have just accidentally opened the 'X2 song' in Home Studio 7 - a message came up which said that the song wasn't originally made in Home Studio.
I DID NOT SAVE it.

Exited Home Studio and booted up the song in Sonar X2.
It now plays like it's been slowed down x50 and is completely distorted.
WHY?? It was never saved in that state.
Has simply opening it in Home Studio destroyed it??
This happens on ANY X2  project in X2 now.
Very worried.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Dave

Infact, starting a new project and just playing a soft synth sounds completely distorted.
Is there a setting that has been changed because I have been using Home Studio?

    Think I've solved this.
Sorry - I posted before actually thinking about it first!
Had to change couple of settings back - something to do with 32/64 bit.

Can you please check your current:

    1.  Sample Rate in Sonar
    2.  Driver Mode in Sonar
    3.  Sample Rate in audio interface
    4.  ASIO Buffer Size in audio interface

    Thanks,
