I had an employee who claimed to be narcoleptic but actually just stayed up all night then came in to work exhausted. He'd be sitting there working at the computer and just doze off. First few times I woke him up politely. After a while I started clapping my hands really loud right next to his ear and told him if he was too tired to work he should go home. He started staying awake... at least when I was in the office.

I have always loved the old prank of putting shaving cream in their hands..... and then using a rolled piece of tissue paper tapered to a point..... insert it into one nostril ..... Or: since he's at work...... I would go with the old tried and true, time tested small pan of warm water...... simply lower is hand into the warm water and ...... waaaa laaaaa.....!!!! Done correctly you can be back at your desk before he wakes up wetter than when he started. OR.... simply pour the warm water in his lap..... No matter what, I think it's safe to say that falling asleep around here could be hazardous to your health .....based on the comments above.... I'm getting another cup of coffee....

Touchy subject and you can get written up for harassment. There was a friend of ours that had this problem, and he also had his eyes closed, and he never failed to answer the call properly and correctly, and he says, that things just relax and there isn't much that he can do. One time someone got upset and threw him into HR, and he produced all the medical documentation. Just when you think someone is asleep ... that someone is not asleep! Go ahead ... light his fuse ... pay for it later in ways that you did not imagine! That's not even funny!
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

I'm not sure which one to try first. Thanks CH. Lighting his scrotum on fire might start a small commotion but what the hey, I'll give that a try first. There are a lot of ideas here!
The sound really isn't extremely annoying. Almost like a cadence of the pigs, only very tired pigs. Kind of sounds cute in a pig kind of way. If we could get someone else snoring,say a third below that ,we might have something.

If you REALLY don't like the guy, leave an almost empty bottle of booze on his desk. Then take a picture of him and post it.
Personally, I'm not that mean, so I'd record him snoring for awhile then play it back loudly on a loop from my desk while I'm off in a meeting and he's awake. The perfect payback.

Yup. Women never could admit they snore. You could take that recording, put the audio through NI's Mouth, drop a beat, and BAAAAM......a hit song!! (or get hit)
