X3 and the MCU protocol?
Any news from X3 users about the interoperability of X3 and the MCU or with protocol-compliant MCU emulators?

I've not spent more than a few hours in X3, but my MCU pro so far has worked flawlessly and I've had no crashes. That's a GREAT sign and a very different experience from X2...

interesting, to me there is no difference in performance from x2 to x3. it works well, but some of the buttons don't do what they are supposed to do. it's been that way ever since I got it probably during 8 or 8.5. the c4 audio seems unchanged. I'm pretty happy, but occasionally when I get too frisky with the jog wheel, or too many buttons too fast, I get a crash. not often.

I remember reading somewhere that some people from the forum have modified their mcu to correct mislabeled buttons. Anyone know anything about that? it would also be great if the pro channel modules could be seen by the mcu or the c4. I realize that touch will be the cs moving forward, and for plugins that does make sense. but the motorized fade rs and transport controls on mcu and the like are essential.
