Strum Acoustic Session - Timing is out ?

Hi there.

Just tried using this new Soft Synth in X3.  Timing is out. i.e my midi notes are on the grid but what I hear is out. When I freeze the track and view the waveform, indeed the whole track is delayed (by around a 1/32 beat at 148 bpm).
I can of course nudge the audio (or the midi I guess back into time), but any idea why its out. everything else ok including other soft synth timing.

Thanks in advance.

Chris in a warm but getting  colder UK.

I have a 32 bit version of Strum Acoustic Session from a while ago - it was a free gift to AAS customers I seem to remember - and presumed the delay was down to it being BitBridge-d. I set the MIDI Channel Time+ to a negative offset, so the PRV editing is as normal.

Are you using the 64 bit version of Strum Acoustic? I was hoping this problem wouldn't exist when using it in 64 bit SONAR.

Hey, how do you guys like that product?  I use RealGuitar 90% and Acoustic Legends the other 10%, but I have the AAS strum product and while it does not equal the other two (in my opinion), it is incredibly good for the price and is good in that it has its own sound.  A few years ago when there were not RealGuitars, I would have killed for this thing.

I haven't got any other similar plugins, so can't say whether it compares favourably. Does the job well enough for me, though.

I have the same problem with delay--it's consistently about one 1/16 note in a ballad (72 bpm). While the sound is nice, this makes the program a torture to use (correct each track after adding it? Then audition it and decide whether it needs another take?).

    Dean L. Surkin - Steinway A (1902, rebuilt 1988), Kawai MP8, Yamaha KX-76; Intel i7-4770K, 32GB, RME AIO; HP ZR30w (great monitor!); Sonar Platinum, Garritan JABB3 and GPO4, VB3
One day, when I have the time, I will learn how to use all the features of Cakewalk 2.0. Oh, wait, Sonar 8.5. What did you say? Sonar version what?
