Very interesting Spacey. Would this jelly mass vibrate? I'm thinking similar to jello on a washer in the spin cycle.Disclaimer- Not that I have ever done that kind of thing.

    That's interesting.

I wonder if it can be cost effective and viable (volume, frequency response, distortion, etc.), because you could come up with a lot of interesting applications.

For instance, maybe spacey could build us an electric "acoustic" guitar with a pretty piece of wood underneath it.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

    LOL...
It's just amazing to me the stuff I read...a few days ago it was about atomic microscopes that cost between 10k- 1 million dollars-depending on features and some young US and Chinese students built one using Legos for $500.00.

Maybe they could build a clear trampoline out of it and I could do flips and shlt jamming to LZ. Now I can remember a time when that would have been a trip.
