The only "problem" I'm having is I don't have one. By that I mean I have a problem telling you if there is a problem.

I have a Dell Studio XPS (a few years old now) and never had a problem with Sonar X series - stability or performance wise.    But, for new laptop I think I may go with an HP.  Hearing some good things about them.  Regardless, any laptop will work fine - just do the normal tweaks (or not).

I have an XPS L702x for location recordings with a Presonus 1818vsl. It's all working fine. But as mentioned above, I have no advice what to purchase. I got mine because of somebody needing to sell.

I have used a few dell laptops that are all from the latitude range and not had any problems but the first job has always been to reinstall a clean version of the OS.
