X3-If Instrument Tracks are in Folders, Track Mgr won't open in CV

I can't get the Track Manager to display in CV when there exist a track folder with instrument tracks.  (No problem if MIDI tracks.)  Here's what I did:

1.  New Project.
2.  Create 4 instrument tracks.  Track Manager works well in TV and CV, for both when "keep in sync" checked and unchecked.
3.  Create track folder and put tracks 1 and 2 in it.  Track Manager works fine in TV.  In CV, Track Manager cannot be displayed either by "h" or menu.

When the Track Manager "in sync" is checked, the tracks displayed in both TV and CV are correct.

So is this normal, or a bug, or just my system?

Yikes!  I just did this in X2 - same results.

Thanks for any help.

That doesn't sound right.  In fact, after just trying it myself, I cannot say I see the same.  When not in sync, folders (as you described above) are hidden in TV and visible in CV.  When sync is then activated in the CV's TM the folders reappear in TV.

However, after a few gorounds, I did see that if sync was disabled and I hid the folders in the TV, then clicked in the CV and enabled sync in the TM there, the folders would sometimes appear in the TV and another time they would not until I went back into the CV's TM and clicked OK (confirming that sync was enabled).  So I guess it's not working perfectly every time, but does work properly for the most part.

(I find this typical for features in SONAR in some way or another.  They work, but once in a while (or more often than not) a glitch pops up.)  Nothing is 100% all of the time (in SONAR).   Individual results may vary.

    Kind regards,
