X3 - Naming Patches and importing MP3 Audio

Hi to all,

Hoping you can help ...

I have a few Plug-ins, like, say, U-HE Diva, that when I create a new patch and go to save with a new name, as soon as I am typing, Sonar is picking up the keyboard short cut letters, opening all sorts of things. Although I can try and rename in Windows Explorer or via a SAVIHost version, it would be great to not need to do these work-arounds.

Occasionally I import an MP3 audio file, even ones I have created into earlier versions of Sonar, but in the last week, with X3,  I now get an Error, that crashes Sonar. It says 'Failed to load ffmpeg.dll' . Trawling the internet, some comments point to Audacity, as that uses a this dll, no problems with that, and installed latest, just in case ...still same error ...no more recent software installed, apart from Window's updates (?)

Any support appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

What happens if you click the little keyboard button in the UI for the plugin?  I thought that was supposed to turn over all keystrokes to the plugin.
