Viewing X1 Synth Rack controls when docked?

Viewing X1 Synth Rack controls when docked?

Is there a way to view the "Assign Synth Controls" button and the show/hide button when the Synth Rack is docked? I see those two just fine when it's undocked, but they disappear when docked.

    After a bit of searching and reading, it turns out the only way to see those controls in X1 is to undock the Synth Rack.
     
    Question: Was this changed/corrected in X2 or X3?

    if you dock on left or right, no... if you dock in the multidock, they do show up.
