[fix in progress] X3b VST3 bug? (Klanghelm SDRR)

I had a very weird and specific problem using the Klanghelm SDRR 64 bit VST3 in X3b. It's a saturation/overdrive plugin. On a couple of tracks, when I insert it it will not produce regular sound but instead do some of the breaking up sound normally associated with a too small ASIO buffer. It's not the ASIO buffer (seemingly) because increasing it doesn't help, nor does switching driver modes. In addition, on such a "problematic" track, when ProChannel and at least one module is on, some presets will auto-oscillate as if there's some kind of feedback going on. It seems to have to do with a parameter in the plug called "dynamics fast/slow". Feedbacking is not an inherent feature of SDRR, the Dynamics control is supposed to change the speed at which the distortion comes in, like a compressor's fast/release all in one.

Other things I've found out;
1. Cloning the track does not solve the issue, but creating a new track and moving or copying the audio clip onto it does.
2. It only happens when the ProChannel and at least one module is active.
3. Switching off ProChannel or any active modules instantly kills the feedback loop (sounds like ProChannel always has some live I/O going on??) but doesn't affect the breaking up sound when I play the track.
4. The VST2 version of the same plug behaves fine on the same track, no breaking up and no feedback.

I may have forgotten other important things but was wondering if anyone has that plug and can confirm? I noticed it on the "crunchy rock bass" preset at first. It's hard to reproduce since it seems to do it only on some randomly selected tracks, which aren't any different from other tracks as far as I can see.

    Oh yeah
    5. Muting the track stops feedback, unmuting brings it straight back
    6. Bypassing the plug in the bin stops feedback, engaging brings it straight back

    It could be a bug with the silent buffer processing for the plugin. Please ask the vendor to get in touch with us so we can troubleshoot it mutually.

    I'll do that. Could you perhaps PM me an email address or something where I can refer him to?

    Noel from CW and Tony from Klanghelm have been in touch about this, Tony thinks it may be a problem on his side of things. VST2 64 bit works fine for now by the way.

    In this age of heavily automated bureaucracy I'm deeply impressed by how directly this is being picked up. I got married abroad this year and I wish I could've had even one real direct answer from someone who actually knew something, when trying to set up everything.
