Missing Bass Drum

Please excuse the novice question, but.....

I open a MIDI file in X3, assign the Addictive Drums to the drum tracks, and the bass drum notes are there, but one space under where they should be (in the piano roll view). Anyone know why, and how I can fix this?

Thanks,

Bob

Click the keyboard key for that note in the PRV to select them all, and Shift-drag them up a half-step. Shift will keep them from moving in time.

EDIT: The General MIDI standard to which your MIDI track probably adheres has an alternate kick on that B (note number 35), but Addictive (and many other drum synths) doesn't adhere strictly to the GM standard, and doesn't have any sound on the note.

You can select different midi formats in AD. Just go to the "beats" page and select the midi map preset you want. I have not done this but I believe you can create your own midi map presets in AD.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.
