X3 Refresh issue...

hi all, just wanted to ask if X3b has a refresh issue?

i found two instances of this happening:

1. When changes are made to the Plugin Effects via the PlugIns Tab, the changes are not reflected immediately after the Cakewalk Plugin Utility is closed... (this was not apparent in X1d)
(work around - click any other button or tab in the browser window and then come back to the PlugIns Tab. The changes will be reflected)

2. PRV - the grid lines are not updating after changing the grid snap settings. (also not apparent in X1d)
(work around - turn off and on the "snap enable" and the grid updates)

do kindly advice. many thanks!!!

Regarding #2 This was a problem in X1 as well, unless you had gone through the drill of undocking and unfloating the docked PRV and toggling Grid Follows Snap before re-docking. Perhaps you did this in the X1 project/template, and not yet in the X3 project you're looking at now...?

I don't have this issue in X3b (and I don't remember experiencing it in X2a, either). The grid lines in the regular PRV always update without turning off and on the button (I have Smart Grid off, because I use Secondary Snap). The ones in the inline PRV, on the other hand, never update.

    Tak T.

Hi Jlien X, thanks also for your reply.

i tried with either smart Grid on or off, it makes no difference. i have also tried to incorporate brundlefly's methods with yours to no avail either...

guess it could be a bug... but with the work around, i am good for now. its just another click on the mouse button...
