Blondie-Bunny-Gas Group: German Fever (Free jam)
Me (the Gas mask guy) and my friends spent evening in my studio: http://youtu.be/5ZieoYLxHVsThis is free jam session. Nothing was planned beforehands. :) Don't mind slight tuning problems... I used almost entirely SONAR X3b built-in plug-ins in the mix. The only exception is Native Instruments RC24 reverb: Kick: AKG D112 -> ProChannel: QuadEQ: flat -> ChannelCompressor w/ fast attack, 3 dB gr Snare: SM57 -> -> ProChannel: QuadEQ: flat -> ChannelCompressor w/ fast attack, 3-6 dB gr 12" Tom: SM57 -> ProChannel: QuadEQ: Cut rumble, ChannelCompressor w/ fast attack, 3-6 dB gr 14" Tom: MD441 -> ProChannel: QuadEQ: Cut rumble, ChannelCompressor w/ fast attack, 3-6 dB gr Overheards: Neumann KM184 -> -> ProChannel: QuadEQ: flat -> ChannelCompressor w/ fast attack, 6-9 dB gr Room mics: Neumann AKC 414B-ULS -> ProChannel: QuadEQ: flat -> ChannelCompressor w/ fast attack, 6-9 dB gr Hihat: AKG C451-> ProChannel: <nothing> All drums routed to Drum Bus. Bass (American Jazz Bass): Fractal Audio AXE FX II Sax: Shure SM7-B -> ProChannel: Quad EQ: cut 100 Hz, PC76 compressor w/ default values except added input gain, Sonitus:Delay, , Native Instruments RC24 reverb (25%) Overdub recordings: guitar -> AXE FX II -> SONAR (no fx) Drum Bus: Tape Emulator (default settings) Bass Bus: PC76 compressor, Tape Emulator (default settings), Native Instruments RC24 reverb (20%) Master Bus: no FX.

I was gonna ask where the guitar player was hiding. Real nice music!!! The sax player did a great job of keeping it fresh. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you guys! Karsten is creative drummer and it's always joy to play with him. This jam basically demonstrates the way we compose our "real" songs. What a timesaver - no need to do composing, arrangements, rehearsals and recording separately if you can do it all at once. :)

Sounded great for a live sound (minus guitar). Enjoyed the listen. Didn't listen to it all, though. Little long for me. I'm radio brainwashed. 3-4 minutes.
