Importing mp3 with cover art

I sometimes purchase backing tracks from a company that offers them in idivdual tracks, drums bass, piano guitars etc.

recently  on X3 I can't import them and I get an odd message stating out of memory.   I'm on a dual boot system, so in windows xp on sonar x1 I can import them.

I inquired and was told they are including cover art now.   So does that makes sense to get an out of memory message?

and is there some software available to strip out the art work from mp3's?

This is a known issue with mp3 files that contain non-music data. The MS library that Cakewalk uses fails on import with an "out of memory" error. Use another tool to convert the file to wav before importing into SONAR.
