Can X1 import custom tunings? ie. custom intonations

Hello all,

I wonder if there is a way to import  into (or create natively within) X1 a custom intonation for MIDI information.       Say,   if I want to create a custom tuning specifically for a particular song in a particular key.      Like,   to "brighten" my Fifths and my Thirds and my natural7th's.

Thank you,   ras

    Hi there,

custom tuning is a function of whatever instruments (VSTi) that you load into the DAW, not the DAW itself.

So you need to look at what instruments you want to use, and check what custom tuning capabilities each instrument has, and customise them in your project.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers - Cliff
