X3b recording "double" midi notes (but not X2)

I just discovered that when I record a midi track from any VST, that it's recording twice, laying two midi notes on top of each other. I went to delete a midi note in the piano roll view and the delete revealed an identical midi note underneath it. Kontakt, Omnisphere, Massive, etc... all like that.

I just tried with X2 and this isn't happening there. Can anyone else confirm this? Maybe it's some weird thing here but it's just started apparently and seems to be X3b

Not an X3b problem. Don't know how but in the Midi->Devices section of Preferences, both my audio/midi card and my midi keyboard were checked. That apparently created two identical midi notes for each note I played. Whew!

It has always been a routine problem or keyboard config issue in the past.
