Sonar X2 and Melodyne

This is proabably a simple question: I have Sonar X2 - if I bought Melodyne Essential V2.0 can I use it as a plug-In?

I uses Editor in X2 so I don't know off hand.  Check the Celemony site.

Yes, but you could probably upgrade to X3 Studio or Producer for about the same or slightly more and get Melodyne Essential inlcuded plus more.

Also, if you own X2a, upgrading to X3 and then using the upgrade offer from Melodyne will get you the full version of Melodyne Editor 2 for $100 less than buying Meldodyne Editor at full retail.

So you get Melodyne Editor 2 for a $100 discount and Sonar X3 effectively for free.  Pretty good deal if you can afford to spend just under $300.  I will be eating cornflakes for dinner this month, but couldn't pass up the offer!

Not to mention Melodyne in X3 is a LOT more fun with ARA than it could ever be in X2.
