Nice stuff.  I love your positive lyrics.  I enjoy the different instrument/synth sounds you used.  I like it!

Thanks a lot, WS! By the fact that you enjoyed the lyrics, I'll assume the mix was decent?

That's a nice fresh sound David, bright and breezy. Mix sounds pretty good to me. Felt like you were almost going to run out of breath in the first verse there
Like the little synth touches and counter-melodies going on, good stuff.

Thanks for listen, James; glad to know someone appreciates the sound! I actually had LOADS of trouble (every take!) on the second verse, during 'get your mind to mold'. Thanks again :)

Mix sounded mostly fine to me.  However, there were times here and there when the vocal was a little hard to hear.

I think vocal balancing was my biggest issue. I need to bring the chorus vox down, bring the verse vox up and fix the eq a bit better then prolly automate some levels. Otherwise, I found the mix decent for release :D

    Dear David,

you know I am your fan since the infamous Robot Arm! This one is very much hip-hop, I am more into your alternative pop-punk-stuff, but, you know, it still sounds pretty cool!

This has got some real potential, David. Your voice sounds real pro here and there. Some real well recorded vocals. Except the rap: that totally is a struggle to hear.

And for a hip hop song, where is the low end?

Thanks for checking it out, tgp!

speedtom, that is AWESOME, my robot arm was one of my best mixes. I've got a lot more on the way, just gotta get back into the swing of writing lyrics, haha 8)

james, when you say that, I assume you're refering to difficult to hear in the mix? Unless you're referring o the actually message? XD sorry, I can't tell! But thanks a bunch! As far as bass... I have no idea. I don't have the cans to get a good feel for bass, I suppose, so I couldn't do much beyond performing it on guitar thru a bass synth and making that ALL the song's low-end.

I liked it. Sounded more like old school which is a good thing IMO. I like the positive message. I think maybe you should try the vocals one more time. The just need a little polish here and there...like where it sounds like you're running out of breath. But I enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing!
